Fall in the Northwest
November 04, 2019
It’s been a nice fall here in Portland with all of the leaves changing and cool days.
Most of these pictures are from a trip to Ft. Stevens State Park in Oregon, where we spent a weekend wandering around finding mushrooms. There’s so many different varieties here in the Northwest, and looking for mushrooms is a great lesiurely outdoor activity.
A few miscellaneous photos throughout are from Mt. Rainier and Cannon Beach.
If you would like a print, or full resolution file of any of the images feel free to reach out to me at mike@mguida.com.

Waterfall at Mt. Rainier National Park, Washington. This is the only picture from my camera from this trip, as I forgot to charge my battery.

There’s beautiful ferns everywhere, but they’re so hard to capture
Lea with a colorful leaf contrasting her white hat
We found more than just mushrooms, like this glass Gatorade bottle from the early 90’s in surprisingly good condition and left behind as trash in the forest.
Big mushroom, bigger smile

Photographing the small details is quite challenging
